Corner bracket for door frames: A flat power pack

Door panels of wooden room doors can be mounted fast and simply, because Pollmeier has developed a clever corner bracket made of plastic. The innovation, already patented as a utility model, consists of two dead-end drillings lying against each other and a double eccentric.

Contrary to conventional connections about protruding bolts the new product fits the frame surface-flushed. Another advantage: A huge bend-proof door frame because the corner bracket transfers the accruing forces directly and optimally on the chipboard. Since the lower part of the eccentric lies in the lower layer of the chipboard above the centre of the frame, the upper part in the surface layer. Thus the frame is already very stable during the transport to the assembly.
