Triathlon: Successful Ironman (03.2012)

Two Ironman world championships within four weeks are the pride of managing director Holger Pollmeier. He triumphantly completed both the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Las Vegas and the world championship in the full Ironman distance in Hawaii.

On 8th October 2011, 1,918 participants from all over the world lined up at the start at the legendary Triathlon. The 41-year-old as 214 in his age class reached the finish after having done a total of twelve hours and ten minutes, thus achieving place 1,375. "The instant when one reaches the finish is unforgettable for anyone. This great event will be with me for the rest of my life," said Pollmeier, summing up. After four Ironman tournaments over the past year, the committed managing director will now scale down his sporting activities to gather strength a bit.
